Savills Larry Smith is pleased to announce the completion of project ‘RelampGreen’ at shopping centres in Tuscia and Itaca in Lazio Italy saving 190 CO2 Tons/year emissions.

Milano - 26 September 2017

The “RelampGreen” project involved replacing more than 2.700 traditional lamps with as many LED lights in two shopping galleries owned by Pradera and managed by Savills Larry Smith Itaca Shopping Centre and Tuscia Shopping Centre, both located in Lazio region. Savills Larry Smith technical department has worked side by side with the management staff and acted as project manager, adopting a well-defined procedure: participants' selection, tendering, dealing with mock-up, drawing-up of contracts and carrying out checks through every single activity.

The above-mentioned process allowed completing both projects on schedule and being in line with the estimated costs and the quality level required by the Client.

The post-operation benefits are many such as:

  • 190 CO2 tons/year emission saving;
  • Around 461.000 kWh/years saving;
  • Around 60% tenants saving/year for each gallery;
  • Internal lighting improvement that increased the perception of comfort and safety also in the parking area.

The aim of the Relamping Project – states Paolo Pacelli, Savills Larry Smith Head of Technical Department – is to optimise the energy and cost saving applied to the malls and to their underground parking. In that way, each Consortium can have a significant cost reduction on the budget. This purpose characterizes our business model and it’s of primary importance”.
